3 Things I Didn’t Know About Disney Cruises
When I booked our Disney Cruise I had heard amazing reviews from other agents and knew the children would love it but worried about what it would be like on board and how, my very anti cruise husband would fare! But we were both very pleasantly surprised and I cannot stop recommending them! Here’s a little round up of what surprised us.
How luxurious the interior would be
The interior of the ship was such a 1930’s extravaganza. Think Luigi’s Mansion meets Agatha Christie, It was totally my vibe. Marble, fluted edges and lots of crystal and always spotlessly clean. And the consistency of the theming integrating the Disney logo was really stylish.
2. How amazing they would be with my sons allergies.
Both in the themed restaurants and the buffet, they were amazing at catering to my son’s allergy. They prepared special off menu foods and also brought special allergy free cooked food at breakfast. Which meant he could have the famous Mickey waffles and churros! Allergies were taken really seriously and the fact that your wait staff travel with you as you rotate the different dinner restaurants made it so easy as you only had to explain it once.
3. How much I would love the Character meets
Characters were everywhere on the Disney cruise, princesses, captains Mickey and Minnie and they even went into the kids clubs to do activities with the children. Queuing wasn’t as long as in the Disney parks and the app made planning the meets a breeze. We waited no longer than 20 minutes and even bumped in to Princesses on the stairways!
I could talk for hours about how much we loved the Disney Cruise. We loved the entertainment, the whole vibe of the ship and how much it catered so well for children and adults. If you would like any advice or help booking your Disney cruise please do get in touch.
